For some time I was thinking that i should write a blog. A technology blog , about computes and staff.
How original of me :( . But since I use many of the blogs to fix staff this is my chance to put some back.
Well here goes
Recently I decided ( actually my boss told me) to build some containers and run them on Atomic.

Well here goes
Recently I decided ( actually my boss told me) to build some containers and run them on Atomic.
So I took the latest atomic from Red Hat an installed on a local VM.
The setup :
- Fedora 21 machine.
- Virsh installed.
- Your favorite virtual manager , me use virt manager all you cmd line enthusiast can use virt-install.
- Atomic Iso.
Installing
- Create you new virtual machine.
- Make it a local Install media. And select your ISO.
- Give the machine some decent amount of RAM . Running containers and especially heavy ones makes a lot of duplicate code running. For example several systemd instance in the same time
- Go through the anaconda setup .Dont leave things for later ,setup your host name and users there. This is your last chance for comfortable UI for now. There is no "yum install nmtui "later
Boot the installed machine.
Next time :The atomic command and the container "appstore".
